Two dozen tall ships participating in Tall Ships Challenge 2005 visited Tacoma, Washington, from June 30 through July 4. These images are from the Parade of Sail when ships sailed from Quartermaster Harbor at Vashon Island to Commencement Bay in Tacoma.
Pallada
The Russian training ship Pallada was the largest of the tall ships at 356 feet long and masts 162 feet above deck.
