Birds of prey are fascinating to watch, especially bald eagles which like to dip and swoop on the winds above Puget Sound.

I heard someone say that bald eagles in the San Juan Islands are as plentiful as pigeons elsewhere. There are lots of bald eagles, although their size probably makes up for numbers.
